My ninth year supporting Anchor House

This year, I'm returning to ride in my 9th Anchor House Ride for Runaways. This organization does so much with the funds we raise here. I remember the first in-person event I attended in Trenton, New Jersey. It was in the basement of an old church, the chairs were mismatched, and a screen made from a sheet held up with clothespins. I was glad to see they didn't waste money on things that didn't matter. It's the kids that matter.
Being part of the LGBT+ community has given me personal insight into some of the issues faced by LGBT youth, and housing is one of the biggest. A safe place to call home is the foundation for success, regardless of sexual orientation or gender expression.
If you can, please consider supporting Anchor House to help support kids who don't have a safe place to call home.
