So here we go again—-Ride # 32 for me. You’ve may have heard me say this before—Getting involved with this charity, and this Ride, and this physical and mental challenge, and these wonderful people was one of the best decisions of my life. I’m certainly aging and aching more with each yr—but I will contribute to this Ride for as long as I'm physically able to do so.
And YOU GUYS–you AMAZING PEOPLE—-for so many yrs you’ve donated THOUSANDS of dollars to Anchor House and its program. AH and its youth has benefitted from your generosity for all of these 32 yrs. They now have a “Connect-to-Home” program that provides vouchers and housing to young adults that have gone thru the child welfare and/or foster system, have “aged out” , and are now left homeless. AND-–during our TWO snow storms here in NJ this yr, the AH shelter had several kids knocking on the door for somewhere to stay out of the storm—-just simple examples of how this organization is SOOOO necessary.
Once more—”Here We Go Again”---any donation is a wonderful thing.
TY for 32 yrs of support—and here’s hoping for several more.
