Support My Ride in 2025!

Dear Family and Friends -
This summer I am participating in a 500-mile cycling endurance adventure to support the mission of Anchor House. Anchor House is a nonprofit agency located in Trenton, New Jersey, offering safe housing, crisis intervention, community outreach, and supportive services to youth and young adults ages 12 to 24 who have runaway, are at risk of, or experiencing abuse, neglect, homelessness, or are aging out of the child welfare system. Anchor House provides a comprehensive and trauma-informed system of care to help our youth and their families prepare for productive and independent lives. All services are provided free of charge.
I am a former employee of Anchor House, having worked there two different times in the 1980s. During my second tenure (86-88), while in Graduate School at Trenton State College, I also participated in the 500-mile ride from Lenox, Ontario, Canada to Trenton, New Jersey. This year, we will start our ride in the Finger Lakes region of New York state, heading out of the city of Geneva and winding our way down through New York, Pennsylvania and finally, on day seven, crossing into New Jersey where we will finish up at the Quaker Bridge Mall.
I know first-hand that this is a challenging and exciting adventure for an incredibly important and worthy cause! I am very hopeful that we can partner together to make this one of the most successful fundraising rides in Anchor House’s history. Please consider supporting me by making a tax-deductible donation toward my goal of $1,500 so that Anchor House can continue their mission to help children, teens, young adults and families. If you know of others among your family, friends, and colleagues who might be interested in supporting this effort, please feel free to forward this invitation to them.
Thank you in advance for your support. I truly appreciate your generosity. Together, I know that we can make a difference. I’ll be sending training updates over the next few months as I increase my riding mileage and the weather continues to warm. If you have any questions for me, please do not hesitate to reach out.
Best - Bill
