We chose to change our team name from the "Turtle Rescuers" to "Strava non Grata" as a reminder that this ride isn’t about us. It’s not about our pace, our mileage, or our stats on Strava. It’s about the kids.

We ride in support of the Anchor House and the youth they serve—kids facing challenges far greater than a hill climb or a long day in the saddle. Our team name reflects our commitment to humility, compassion, and keeping the focus where it belongs: on helping young people find safety, stability, and hope.

In a world where cycling can sometimes be driven by ego and achievement, we're choosing to set that aside. We're not here for the segments—we're here for the cause.
