In 2009 I took on my first 500 mile cycling trek for the Anchor House Foundation and it’s hard for me to imagine in July I’ll be tackling this for the 9th time. At the top of the reasons I keep coming back are it is one great cause, with really great people.

It’s also an excuse do what I love (cycling 😊) and it’s personal. My daughter’s circumstances were similar to the kids at Anchor House and I’ve seen how love and support can ignite the kind of determination it takes for kids to create a life for themselves.

This year our journey starts in Geneva NY on July 13th. We’ll ride for 7 days covering 500 miles to arrive in Trenton NJ on July 19th.
