Young People Need Our Help

Stephen Marinko
For the 25th year, I will participate in the Ride for Runaways to benefit Anchor House Foundation, a non-profit organization devoted to assisting runaway, homeless, and abused youths in central New Jersey. From July 13-19, along with more than 100 other riders, I will ride my bike 500 miles, starting in Geneva, New York and continuing through New York, Pennsylvania and New Jersey to our finishing point just outside of Trenton.
Doing the Ride for Runaways for the 25th time means two things. First, it means that I believe very strongly in the importance of Anchor House’s mission to offer young persons in difficult circumstances the hope of a brighter tomorrow. Besides serving children from central New Jersey, Anchor House is part of a nationwide network of organizations that assist runaway children throughout the country.
Second, I could not do the ride for the 25th time without an amazing group of family members and friends who have been extraordinarily generous and loyal in supporting my efforts in behalf of Anchor House over so many years. I can’t express adequately how grateful I am for your generous support, and how much you inspire me to train and to persevere through the challenging stretches of the ride.
Your donations to Anchor House enable it to continue its critical programs that provide hope for young persons in need – ranging from very young children to older teenagers. By supporting Anchor House, you help make a real difference in these young persons’ lives.
Sincerely,
Steve
