I feel blessed to see this house in action!

Meeting the youth, young adults in-person and listening to their stories of how Anchor House has helped them is heartwarming. They learn emotional coping, budgeting and life success skills, enabling them to succeed in school, graduate high school, obtain bachelor’s or master’s degrees and / or gainful employment. Their families are also encouraged to receive support/skills so they can reunite with their child.

Heartwarming successes are why Rick, and I will be participating for our 16th year in the 46th Annual Anchor House Ride for Runaways, to help raise operating expenses for the House. We will be leading the support team volunteers to help ensure the bicycle riders safely travel 500 miles (Harrisonburg VA – Trenton NJ) in 7 days.
