Once again I am very excited to announce that this summer, Sally and I will be participants in the Anchor House ride to help the homeless, abused, and at risk youths in our community. Anchor House has helped countless kids since they opened their doors in the late 1970's. It is an amazing organization that provides incredible support to these children who have very little going right in their lives. I have seen it firsthand which is why I will be riding my bike this summer 500 miles over one week to raise money to support the cause.

This will be my 14th year doing the ride, and Sally’s 6th. I’ve started rides in Vermont, Massachusetts, New York, Maryland, and Virginia. This year we will be going back to Virginia and departing from Harrisonburg! For me that's a total of 7,000 miles of riding for Anchor House and some 18,000 miles of training. But that is nothing compared to what some of the children we support have to go through.

In these difficult times, these kids need our help more than ever. Your donation will make a difference. My goal is to raise at least $5,000 dollars this year. Sally and I are also working as a team and together we hope to raise $10,000.
